キュービクル内にあるコンデンサ油にPCBが含まれているかどうか調べて欲しいというご依頼いただきまして採油に行ってきました。
We received a request to check whether the condenser oil in a cubicle contained PCBs, so we went to sample the oil.
変圧器はフタを開けたり、下部ドレインから採油できたりしますが、コンデンサは封じられているので穴をあけないと採油できません。ですので、使用しているコンデンサからは採油することができません。今回は使用しないとのことでしたので穴をあけて採油することができました。
You can open the lid of a transformer or sample the oil from the bottom drain, but since a capacitor is sealed, you cannot sample the oil unless you drill a hole. Therefore, it is not possible to sample oil from a capacitor that is in use. Since they were not using it this time, we were able to drill a hole and sample the oil.
製造メーカーによっては2004年製の製品までPCB含有の有無を調べる必要があります。
Depending on the manufacturer, it may be necessary to check for PCBs in products made up to 2004.
今回採油した2台はメーカーが違いました。製造年は1970年代前半と後半のものでしたが、1台は基準を超えたPCBが含まれており、もう１台は含まれていませんでした。
The two units from which we sampled oil this time were made by different manufacturers. They were manufactured in the early and late 1970s, respectively, but one contained PCBs that exceeded the standard, and the other did not.
PCB処理期限も近づいておりますので、安定器等も含めて社内にないか今一度ご確認くださいませ。
The deadline for PCB disposal is approaching, so please check again to see if there are any in your company, including ballasts, etc.
